CURRENT OPEN WATER DIVER CLASS
Please remember that this is an “INDEPENDENT STUDY” class. YOU MUST have completed all of the 5 chapters in the manual, all of the Knowledge Reviews, and have watched the training video or DVD -- BEFORE coming to the FIRST class meeting. YOU MUST BE ON TIME TO ALL SESSIONS!
OW CLASS 1010a CENTRAL OREGON DIVING SCUBA SCHEDULE (October)
Monday 4 October 5:45PM to 10:00 PM meet at Central Oregon Diving shop For Academics chapt 1 -- 4
Tuesday 5 October 5:45PM to 7:00 C O Diving shop then 7:00pm to 10:00 pm for confined water training
Wednesday 6 October 5:45PM to 10:00 PM meet at Central Oregon Diving shop For Academics chapt 5 - Final
Thursday 7 October 5:45PM to 7:00 C O Diving shop then 7:00pm to 10: 00 pm for confined water training
Monday 11 October Probably No Meeting -- JAC as needed
Tuesday 12 October 5:45PM to 7:00 C O Diving shop then 7:00pm to 10: 00 pm for confined water training (OW Gear at shop)
Wednesday 13 October Probably no meeting -- JAC only if emergency needs
Thursday 14 October 5:45PM to 7:00 C O Diving shop then 7:00pm to 10: 00 pm for confined water training
Saturday 16 October 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Open Water dive training in local lake
Sunday 17 October 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Open Water dive training in local lake
These pool times DO NOT reflect the actual times we may have allotted from JSFC. The Instructor will adjust times as needed
The course price includes all of your rental equipment for both confined water and open water training. We do encourage you to purchase your own Mask, Fins, Snorkel, and a mouthpiece for your training regulator. You may take this mouthpiece with you after the course and use it on other regulators in your diving future. You will also need to purchase a Log Book of some type. As a student, you receive a 10% equipment purchase discounts on all non-MAP products. (Please beware of equipment bargains and online purchases!)
